This page is dedicated to the demolition of the Scio City Hall that was built in 1964.
The City along with Elder Demolition of Woodburn, began the demolition of the building on Monday, September 15, 2025. To kick off the project, a ceremony was held to open a time capsule that was placed in the wall of the building during the Centennial Celebration for the City of Scio in 1966. The time capsule was to be opened in either 100 years or at the time the building was changed.
Elder Demolition completed the demolition of the building on Thursday, September 25, 2025. We hope that you enjoy the following pictures of the demolition progress.
